Ring at all hours, always silence on the other end of the phone or hang up after a few rings. Its a premium number so I guess they are looking for people to call them back so that they can make money. Extremely persistent and annoying.

called about a road accident they said I had, I said they were wrong and I have blocked the number on my mobile.

This number is very strange , a robotic synthetic Americanized voice appears instamatically as you call the number telling you to wait on the line. I wouldn't if I were you

I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. Some jack-off using this number called me this morning at 8:32am. I didn t take the strange call, and on finding out on here who these jokers are I very well might take their next call to make them totally aware they re pissing up the wrong tree.
