Asked was he speaking to Mrs *****. I said yes. Said potential fraudulent transactions on my bank. I asked which account and full name on the account. He said Santander joint account Mr & Mrs ****. I told him we did not have joint account and he said must have wrong number. We have different surnames and I do not use Santander
The number is legitimate and used by Callagenix but the calls you received were not from Callagenix They only call their own existing customers and do not make cold calls at all If you are not a customer of Callagenix then block the number

Then wanted details from me !! Total scam and in breach of the rules set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), including specific guidelines about how they contact you. Received a text which I believe to be a scam text message claiming that I should visit a website to claim my £400 entitlement for the new Government fuel bill discount scheme, yet my fuel providers have already previously stated that I need do nothing as the discount will be applied automatically without me having to claim it.
