This number has been ringing me constantly, and do not leave a voicemail. Does anybody know how to report them?

2 weeks ago i went to take my benefits out my account and 59.99 was taken out i then gt in touch with the bank the fraud team hv investigated and called me yesterday saying ive gt to call them myself as they hv all my details been trying all day today and yesterday numbers dont exist will i get this money back or should i just give up its a disgrace

When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. If it s a recorded message, it ll nearly always be a scam or a computer dialling a batch of numbers in sequence and trying to assertain if the number they have just dialled is a voice line. i.e. a private phone number. I believe it is someone who called the wrong number. I got a caller on my mobile. I have my number for more than 10 years. I think she misdialled from her phone. She asked for Gemma. I just said there is no Gemma and she got the wrong number. I can't say if this is a trick or not.

Called to tell me that my computer was running slow and offered to take control of my laptop to show me how to cure the problem. I kept pestering HER with various questions in the middle of her "spill" eventually she hang up. Anyone reading this NEVER let anyone take control of your computer from a "cold" telephone call....

Answered this random call to my mobile, automated message saying that a charge had been made against my name from the inland revenue. Ridiculous, I called back to challenge them. A foreign man answered saying HMRC can I help you? I asked why they called me, he asked if he could have my name. I said no. He said You had better get ready to be arrested, Ms ....... (using my name, which I hadn t given), then hung up. Vile scum.
