The man on the other end sounded as though he was from India. He said he was our internet provider and that we had been hacked and people were using our system. Sounded plausible ( I don't think) I am aware of these scams. No 02089812271 Claimed to be from BT saying they were calling about our BT broadband when pushed they asked for a MR Haslam. We do not have a BT provided broadband service. I presume it was the start of some form of scam. The caller was a female with a foreign accent so I guess this may be a spoofed london number and the call may have originated from abroad!!
