Called and an automated but very convincing message said she was calling because I d been in a car accident that wasn t my fault (I haven t). The script is timed to coincide with your answer, most likely a phishing or other scam to get personal details.

I ve just had a call from this number. They said that as I had been involved in a road accident my case had been referred to them. As I had a car accident in the last week my insurance company had referred me to an injury claim solicitor (one who does a lot of advertising on TV) so I thought this was them until I was passed to a supervisor who then proceeded to say "I understand you have been involved in an accident in the last two years". this number has been calling me several times per day for around 2 weeks, when I answered it was a telemarketing company telling me I had been involved in an accident (I haven t) when I responded with "well you know more about this than I do" the caller hung up and didn t call again so I will definitely be using that tactic in the future

I already experienced the "press a key" strategy of those bloody scammers. you ll be relayed to a really expensive premium rate line. hands off any keys!

press "9" to opt out. yet their calls just keep coming. they ve got everything: PPI claims, debts management, free gifts, etc... best thing you can do: ignore their calls and report them to ofcom

i answered but was ending a call on the my other line, they hung up and when i tried call back it said this number is no longer in use

I made the mistake of ordering a kitchen appliance from Boots Kitchen Appliances / AO. Within a day I d received 8 sales calls. Do not give these people your number. Not even for "delivery purposes". They say that they have loan application when infact they only have your name and number. if you pay them a fee and then they promise to call you in 48 hours, you will never hear from them again and may block your number - ho and empty your bank account.
