My phone showed a missed call for this number as being from Barra in Scotland, but 01446 is for Barry in Wales. Along with the report above saying this number has been searched ...

This number calls a LOT especially as I have asked twice to be removed from their database. Excel services wanting to service a dyson we do not have. Just had a call today, VERY rude girl. I told her we had already asked to be taken off the database, we don t have a dyson. She said that s why she s got us down as non-dyson. So they can make a note of that bit but not the fact that we re not interested?! I ended up hanging up, she was just so unpleasant.

Keep calling from different numbers. Keep blocking the number, then they call back from a different number. Warrington this week, Portree in Scotland last week.

Yeah same with me as soon call start talking about a road accident I've had over the last 3yrs. Ask them 2 remove my number. And still call back.

Caller said he was from Microsoft. Said that my PC had been compromised by hackers. After leading him on for a while I asked him straight if he was after money. He said that he was trying to help but then threatened to lock up my computer. I hung up.

Rang this morning 9.35. as usual saying they are from Talk Talk. Thats 9 times in the last 3 days.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). I had 16 phone calls from this number (Clinic Compare, part of lasik-eyes) over the space of 5 days asking for me by name because I made an inquiry into laser eye surgery online. They are a waste of time as they want your details to match you with a laser eye clinic. As soon as I said I d already made appointments with other companies she virtually put the phone down on me.

Calling constantly asking for date of birth, when asked why they get aggressive and ask for date of birth again... I just keep hanging up... Unfortunately this doesn t stop them calling repetitively.

This is a NHS reminder call for a hospital appointment 2 weeks ahead of date. They woke me up at 10pm when I had just fallen asleep so are a nuisance call. They call several time before the date of appointment, they are a nuisance.

Called to tell me that my computer was running slow and offered to take control of my laptop to show me how to cure the problem. I kept pestering HER with various questions in the middle of her "spill" eventually she hang up. Anyone reading this NEVER let anyone take control of your computer from a "cold" telephone call....

Not sure which company this is, but they appear to be in Belfast. Always an Asian voice, gets very abusive if you ask them not to call back.
