Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.

Argos Gift Scam. Received a text message from this same Ambulance chaser number 07742178682 on 16/11/19 but the text says "Congratulations, you ve won the ?500 gift from Argos. Don t miss out!" and includes a dodgy web link -DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK! Argos apparently do not notify you of prizes via SMS.

When answered, a very bad automated message advising that there has been fraud on your National Insurance Number. All assets will be suspended and you will be arrested! Caller claimed to be from British Gas. Repeat calls from someone with a very strong accent who was very persistent in obtaining renewal information and bank details. I was very suspicious and do not trust them.
