Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.

Communication by post to say URGENT YOUR REGISTERED PHARMACY IS CLOSING? Wrong - it's not closing. Treat with caution. Telephone Number is registered to Beaufoy Chemical Products Ltd in Gosport, Hampshire.

Just received a call from this number and it was a pre-recorded message about Amazon Prime and wanting confirmation about an annual payment. This is a scam so please be very careful

SCAM He said he was calling from 3, in their promotions department. He was given my number and not my details as he was only in the promotions department. I'm not with 3. He asked me to confirm I was the account holder by providing my personal details. I refused. SCAM

Fraud: This UK Vodafone mobile number is being used by fraudsters who are targeting people to pay a deposit for an apartment which does not exist. The paid money then goes into a fraudulently opened bank account. It can be evidenced that they also steal peoples identities to open bank accounts and to advertise apartments to rent as described above.

Recorded message about a charge on my paypal account and to press 1 to cancel. I pressed 1 to wind them up and she asked me if I wanted to cancel it. When I said yes she probably reconised my voice from other calls and hung up on me.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. This number called me claiming to be bank security and that 2 transactions had been requested from my bank. One for Amazon for £200 and an international money transfer for £900. Press 1 to authorise or hold if you haven't made these transactions. I hung up.

Strange number calling Sweden

Fraud - The call said they were HMRC and said some mail had been rejected and criminal charges would be made and to press 1 to speak to someone. I then hung up. On searching the number it comes up as "Stichery" on Thames Ditton High Street. This was not the business that called me.

This number called me on my landline & when I answered there was a pre-recorded message to the effect that there had been suspicious transactions on my bank card. I strongly suspect this is a scam.
