SCAM Caller claimed to be called Moses Rufus (definitely a false name as he had to think about it when asked his name) asking to know the where in the process in terms of planning applications my company were with various construction projects. When told I'd need to gather the info and get back to him, he wouldn't give an email address just this number. Suspicions raised after the call I called the number back, it rings twice and cuts off. This number called me today but didn't leave a message. I don't recognise the number so blocked it!
Safe number noticed this number once every month on my telephone bill with a monthly charge of 14p. Turns out it is an automatic test call from PPP Taking Care alarm which we have for elderly mother. Called them to ask why we are being charged as we pay a quarterly handling charge. They very kindly switched this to a freephone number so no more charges.
Scam caller did not answer but when I tried to call back it would not connect
I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
Random number, called for a few seconds and left no message
Answered call which then played pre-recorded message purporting to be about amazon prime renewal and to press 1 if I didn't wish to renew. I asked the caller how he had my number as it wasn't the one associated with my amazon account (it was but knew I was being played) - he then told me to f£&@ off you f&£@£)£ idiot and hung up.

Scam - left voice mail claiming some nonsense about suspicious activity on the Northern border of Wales (nowhere near me) and ordering me to 'press 1' to talk to a legal investigating officer before they take legal action against me or my national insurance number.

Had a call from.this number but im pretty sure its been spoofed as it came up with +44 instead of the full area code. Claiming to be citizens advice which unless you've called them which i havnt they dont call you. Hung up and blocked. Had calls from other similar numbers too and sounded like the call clicked to be recorded was silent to behin with.
