They called me 3 times a day for a month before I finally decided to answer the phone. I was very polite when they started telling me how they were not trying to lend me money, however they WERE offering a great rate on loans (uuummm???) so I managed to interrupt the lady and said that I was perfectly fine financially and had no need for a loan, and that my phone number must have been sold to them without my permission. This number has called me several times over the last couple of days. I phoned back today as it is a local number and actually got an answer John at Assist Financial. Looked this up and yet again it is another hard sell scamming PPI company. When will something be done about these low life harrassing companies. Also apparently, they are based in Wilmslow, so how do they get to use the local 01933 dial code? Or is this another development in the scammers armoury?

This number called me this morning insisting they were my bank trying to prevent fraudulent transactions from a cloned card, then asked me to read out the digits on my card!! They didn't know which bank and stated it was an amazon transaction for £300 that was the fraud, this is tosh and I told them so, beware, they are very persistent even when called out.
