Scam Recorded message saying that a £600 transaction from a foreign country had been blocked by "your bank" the message did not name a specific bank. It was also a requirement for me to press 1 to discuss, which I didn't. The call dropped after 20 seconds. I have checked my banking and no such transaction appears to have taken place. Be careful out there people.

At that point I just hung up so don’t know what else was said but I’m sure if I was involved in tax fraud the last thing I would get is an automated message. Please be careful and just hang up and report it on here or anywhere so others can know about it. This is a dangerous call.

The opening speech was along the lines of I m calling because you were in a car accident that wasn t your fault, is that right? . Numerous calls from this number. also from 01818894557. I attempted to call back both these numbers but numbers do not exist. I got so fed up I played along with him for 15 mins - he wanted to take control of my PC in order to fix (non existent) problems with my router. What he would have done is anybody s guess, but I assume it would not be to my advantage and probably would have cost me money !
