I received 3 calls in a day. I Googled the number and saw this and other threads. The girl said she was called Sophie Joyce (surname given after I questioned her for it) and the company she was working for was Outspire Insource on behalf of EE. Started trying to sell me some new deals. I revealed that I had Googled the number and had read that a number of people had posted to say it was a scam. Caller wanting to talk about delivery of wardrobes. When you call them back, expect to be placed in a queue that takes ages to reduce. I have tried 3 times and given up after 15 mins each time. Must be costing me a fortune from my mobile phone!

Apparently I have won several thousand dollars in a US draw without buying a ticket. I was given a reference number but it sounds very much like a scam.

Called trying to get us to do business with them , Living social. One of the cheap voucher type firms that failing businesses or over stockers use.

I had 16 phone calls from this number (Clinic Compare, part of lasik-eyes) over the space of 5 days asking for me by name because I made an inquiry into laser eye surgery online. They are a waste of time as they want your details to match you with a laser eye clinic. As soon as I said I d already made appointments with other companies she virtually put the phone down on me.

God knows. More and more of these numbers attempting to call give no information when Googled and I m not going to attempt to return the call!
