Looked like a local number so I answered but the phone line was really bad and sounded like a foreign voice in a call centre from another country. He said he was a financial advisor, so I told him I wasn't interested and hung up.

Scam artists, used to always be based in Manchester or Liverpool. Try to con small businesses into paying for advertising in non-existant School/Police/Fire Brigade safety scheme. avoid at all costs.

Couldn't understand name of company even though I asked him to repeat it. However very pleasant man calling about an incident report he'd received concerning an accident I'd been involved in. Told him I hadn't. He politely queried it, but I said I hadn't and was continually getting this type of call - he apologised and said he'd mark my number "not to call"

I answered the call, it sounded like a clever automated dialing service. When I started being funny it directed me to a person. It sounded like they said they were calling from Calamity Claims Services but I might have misheard.
Lots of background noise, said they were from EE and I was entitled to exclusive deals etc when I would give any of my details he said "is because you don t trust this no?" and immediately hung up on me.
My wife could barely make out what this git was saying. All she could make out was ...husband... and ...cars... . He eventually hung up. I keep telling my wife to do the same but she is too polite. Not like me!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam

I keep receiving calls from this number despite blocking it - they sometimes phone up to five times a day! They always ask for Andrew, the idiot who must have mistyped his mobile number when downloading a report or who knows what from this "financial" crowd. I ve asked them politely to remove my number from their database ... to no avail. I ve said I m going to report them to the police if they keep calling me, which usually makes them put down the phone if I don t beat them to it!
