Missed call from someone with an 01582 number. Not on my contact list so no return call made. I expect it's a scam caller thinking I am stupid.

Received a call from this number, but already know of the scam where they are pretending to be sky and pretending to want to improve your connection. When in actual fact they ask you to download an app which gives them full access to all of your mobile phone/financial data and locks you out

Same number has tried to call me daily for weeks. I have installed an android app called CM security which blocks numbers you have reported and also what the other app users have reported. You will still receive a notification that they have tried to call though.

I m receiving calls from Red Star Financial Management on a weekly basis now. Often twice a week. It s the usual robocalls: My phone rings (either my landline of my smartphone), I answer it, a recorded voice comes on to say, "Please wait while an adviser attends your call", and most times some poor young loser introducing him or herself from Red Star Financial Management asks questions about a bank loan I may have taken out in the 17th century. Numerous recent calls asking for house owner or house holder but never identifying themselves or stating their business. Seem like some kind of property dealers. Other people in this area have received similar calls.

It s a 0203 number so probably fake.

Depends whether you did insure your TV separately 3 years ago. Otherwise it s just a variation on the washing machine warranty / insurance scam.
