I train sales people so know the job can be tricky at the best of times. I then politely and jovially said "Go on then, Who are you an what you trying to sell?" To which she replied "Perfect. Numerous calls from this number. also from 01818894557. I attempted to call back both these numbers but numbers do not exist. I got so fed up I played along with him for 15 mins - he wanted to take control of my PC in order to fix (non existent) problems with my router. What he would have done is anybody s guess, but I assume it would not be to my advantage and probably would have cost me money !

Got a call from this number saying they could reduce the insurance costs on my television from ?7 per month to ?5. This is remarkable as I don t have television insurance. They asked for my bank details to "set up a direct debit". I declined so they said they would put the forms in the post. I look forward to receiving them. They called themselves TV Guard.
