This is a Scam call. Recorded call, English woman's voice, pretending to be your bank. Does not mention What bank. Says there has been fraudulent transactions carried out on your account, to call a number. Put the phone down. Do not interact with this call.

Calls started today from this number from Portsmouth, I've had loads of other calls from similar numbers from Portsmouth too so I'm guessing it's a scam

They say to be HMRC or something but couldn't understand why they called. Thought to stay on the line, got redirected to a person that only said 'Hello' and 'Yes'. I dropped the call 20s after.

This is not a scam I have covers for all my electricals,this is from homeshield direct and I also have paperwork and I recently phoned them to replace my washing machine as it broke down and had someone come out to look at it and few weeks later had a new washing machine.had to pay extra for delivery and old washing machine removal

I had a call from this number yesterday the caller said he was from British Gas to arrange a service I wasnt convinced that he was genuine and I asked him how I could be sure that he was from British Gas he immediately hung up Although this is a genuine BG number scammers can mimic numbers to make it look like the call is legitimate I will log into my British Gas account when I want to book my HomeCare service

SCAM Told me it was the royal mail and they wanted to send me an invoice for £1.55 for a packet with no postage. I asked how they got my number and they said the delivery office gave it to them. The supposed packet was in London and I am in Somerset. I called her bluff and said the delivery office did not have my number and she then hung up. They did not have an English accent.

Repeated phone calls, (within working hours). This business sells magazine deals/subscriptions - but if you buy once they don't stop phoning (unless you firmly say/threaten them a few times that you'll report them). They're not the worst by any means.
Called to say my loft insulation had unsafe material and that it could be replaced for free. She asked if I would be interested. I said yes but only if they send details by post to my address. She hung up straight away.

A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
