SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.

NEVER call these numbers back. They are spoofed by the scammers and are not calls from the UK. If you call them back, you may get caught for a large call charge.
When answered automated service states barclays and other bank customers etc entitled to ppi etc. when you ring back an automated nessage answers the phone saying about pension entitlments, if you press 9 apparently your number gets put on their do not contact list.
Picked up the phone 5 mins ago and nobody spoke, then hung up.....
