Scammer - pretending to be from bank / card security. Commences with recorded call. This same foreign sounding person, seems to be calling from the Manchester area, and needs taking down.

A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). SCAM - Call to my landline at 9.53 today. It was a pre-recorded message saying they were querying a suspicious Debit Card payment of £600 sent abroad. They did not say what bank or give any other details. I was asked to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to confirm. I hung up.

Recorded voice claiming to be Amazon and saying I'd been charged £95 for Prime, and to dial '1' if I didn't agree. A quick check with the Amazon website confirmed this to be BS. We wonder where dialling '1' would go and at what cost?
