If you speak, the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will be logged, a scammer will then call you later! They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.

Came in a scam email pretending I'd ordered a camera from Target Inc. for £129.99 via PayPal. This is the "customer service number" you have to call to cancel the order. Hovering over the email address (Laverne D Lee) reveals it's from [email protected]

Domestic Appliance Insurance Scam/Spam call.

SCAM - home appliance washing machine. Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.

Fraud. Second call today claiming to be from Bank Security. No mention of which bank. A recorded message about two alleged payments. Clearly fraud / scam.

Supposedly VISA advising me that debits have been made on my card. This is a scam! It is a recorded message expecting a response. The next step is that they want to verify the card number etc and hey ho! you've lost your money.

Scammers please be carefully. Talking about investing and in russian language. Please be careful.

The I’ve lost my phone, mum. WhatsApp my new number scam! (I haven’t got any children!) Didn’t open message.

SCAM: automated voice, saying from Visa about £900 pounds being used for a purchase.

Purporting to be from my Bank, reporting unauthorised activity and withdrawals.

Unconvincing credit card phishing scam. Automated female voice saying credit card has been used for two large amounts. Amazon and an international transfer. Press 1 or 2 to speak to customer services. Seemed deliberately unclear what company they were supposed to be.

Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." I cut her off & told her she was lying, that she wanted someone to check my insulation & that they would be trying to sell me "upgraded" insulation. There was a long silence so I hung up. Scammer pretending to be from BT. Said hackers were active on my BT account and wanted all kinds of information about my broadband and devices. I'm not with BT so refused and he threatened to disconnect my service if I didn't comply... Absolute scum - beware!
