If you dial 02396, you get unobtainable after the first five figures. I suspect a foreign concealed number that you can't ring back to investigate.

Pretending to be from BT technical department who are about to disconnect my internet. I have had numerous calls from them recently, if you go along with their story and ask why they need to disconnect internet they hang up!
Call center. I am only using the option of 'Call centre' as there is no option for describing someone uninvitedly touting for business for the commission that s/he will receive for selling funeral plans. A better description might be 'Spiv'.
If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This person was clearly the person they were chasing for the debt but I had never heard of her. They state on their website that they are they work ethically, honest
