I'm unsure about this number - people claiming it to be Amazon Prime, Specsavers, electricity and Welsh Water amongst others. But it could be Welsh Water as we had a call from this number this morning (it was blocked by CallGuardian) and our water has been cut off due to a burst watermain. The companies should make it clear on their own website what numbers they call you from so you can tell if they're genuine or not.

Thank you Google , I almost got scammed, from 289-624-5300 *// 289-624-4285 * // *647-354-2063 *//..I was about to call this person for a list of software programs that I wanted for my home and new business office and I noticed that this seller was in Toronto, Yes !, So I was happy about what he had to sell because I wanted these programs,and my 14 year daughter, said she had a bad feeling about this software guy. Pushy telemarketing. Asked the caller repeatedly to put us on the do not call list and was repeatedly ignored for the same question multiple times.
Fraud. I got a recorded message in an American accent saying that a criminal case has been filed against me for tax evasion. I think I am probably stupid enough to accept this and panic, but I don't believe it and burst out laughing. I think the accent tipped me of 'cause the patter was quite believable(NOT!).

I didn t catch the beginning of the message stating the caller (even when it was repeated) but understood that that an order for collection had been delayed for 24 hours. After checking this site (and hearing from my daughter that she had received an email from M&S with the same details) I can confirm this number is currently for M&S

Called, left no message. Country code 54 is Argentina. Seems unlikely the call really was from there, they are about 5 hours behind UK, it would be about 5am there.
Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.

I missed 4 calls from this number so guessed would be a Nuisance Call. Purportedly is the NHS Health Centre. They ask have u been vaccinated, are u well etc etc and then they ask one final question Are You Covered For Lufe Insurance. I already had this pegged as a nuisance number but wanted to know Real Reason for call.
