Automated voice states fron HMRC GOV and court case brought against u!!! Fake nuisance and a search of the net shows no results very strange!

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.

Got a call today from a foreign woman claiming to be from "Consumer Lifestyles" asking me to do a survey on my "lifestyle" ie shopping habits, likes and dislikes, all the usual crap to illicit personal details from you and even how to stop unwanted calls!! Amazon scam. Recorded message tells me I have ordered an Apple Ipad through Amazon and to press 1 if I want to cancel so I did as I like to string them along. All I got was a repeat of the message. What a strange scam if they don't even have the opportunity to get any information!
