This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites. Boku send you a confirmation text, using this number, to tell you that you have just subscribed again. I picked the phone up and there is complete silence. Very annoying and time-wasting.

Called me then I called back a minute later to say the number wasn t recognised! Strange one.

Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.

ANY call about problems with your computer, broadband, router, viruses, IP address, broadband being cut off, offering discounts, etc., IS ALWAYS A SCAM. DO NOT be intimidated...
