Silent call possible a scam
Claims to have my personal details from a National Computer source and wants to help me claim money I am owed by banks. Lying.

Phoned twice on Saturday morning. I answered but stayed silent. No sound at all from the other end and was cut off after a few seconds. Assume it was an automated call.
Said that because they’d refunded an overpayment that my account may show in arrears and I may receive an automated letter due to this error. They will remove it but wanted to let me know that they may not be able to stop the letter. If they’re making this many calls for this reason they should probably just have sent an email to everyone!
Fraud. Automated female recorded voice claiming to be from Amazon wanting to give me back £79. Wanted me to press 1 to talk to customer services, to provide my bank details. Didn't bother as never had an Amazon account and can spot a scam a mile off.

3.15pm Monday 27th April, foreign male,gave his name as Chris Lewey, , gave the name of a company which I didn t quite catch,and that he wasn t trying to sell anything but wanted my opinion. He then asked if I had Sky TV at which point I said I wasn t interested in answering any questions. He thanked me politely and put the phone down. Initially when I answered the phone he asked for me by name.
Company called Social Talk, foreign accent knowing name and address wanting to do a survey. They re a pain in the neck these call centres.

This idiot tried to con me out of some stupid amount for Amazon prime, something I have never had. Unfortunately my husband answered the phone and is more kind to the conners than me. As far as I am concerned all phone callers are potential con artist so I very rarely answer my phone these days. Perhaps if they worked in a decent job for a living they might not be as disgusting, but what do i know.

I first asked him to confirm my IP address (dynamically allocated) and he gave me something he made up - that didn't have all 4 sets of numbers. 01515150604 13:14 13/06/2012 Received a call from this number, when I answered the guy introduced him self but did not disclose the company he was working for I asked him the purpose of his call and he wanted to HELP me. I then turned the tables on him and asked him what sort of help he could give me he then went on to sell me compensation for the ACCIDENT I had, He new more about the accident than i did as i have never had an accident. I then asked him why he thought I had an accident and needed his help.
