He asked me if I had invested some dollars on 21/8-2021, no, I said but I have done an investment in EUR, on 27/8 2021. OK, he sad and began talking about this investment instead. Caller knew my first name and claimed he was representing Nationwide Bank. As I was expecting an overseas call at that time I said I thought it was suspicious that he was calling me. At that point he disconnected.

Then informed them that my number is on telephone preference service and to remove my number from their computer system. Will wait to see if I get any more calls.

Called me saying they had information I had been in a car accident. I asked who had informed them and she disregarded my question to ask her own. I then stated that if she couldn t answer the question then we couldn t speak further, so she hung up. You get robocalls until you pick up from one Bournemouth number, then the next day you get your "local" energy adviser calling you - just got rid at that point so unsure whether a scam, but certainly unsolicited, and since my number is in the TPS database for not getting unsolicited calls, you can bet your life it's a dodgy company not bothered about following the law or regulations.
