Phone number was local to my areas number, he had a foreign accent, speaking good English, and he asked who I was, not very politely, so I fired back at him who HE was. He wanted to know why I kept calling his number!? At that point I just hung up. I don't know if it's a bored student, or whatever, but I've had this twice this week. So I suppose I'm just putting this out there in case anyone else has had the same, or to just be aware of prank calls doing the rounds... ✌????????
We have received up to 5 calls before lunchtime from this number! Today I went through to the sales team to ask them to remove our number from the database, the girl started asking me how old my boiler is! When I was insistent she put the phone down on me, how rude!

There was a recorded message supposedely from my internet service provider (although it didn't say which ISP they were calling on behalf), saying that our internet service would be disconnected in 4 hours due to 'Router Malfunction'. Our router is working fine. I suspect this is a 'Technical Support Scam', where we would be expected to pay for fixing something that isn't broke.

Automated call claiming to be from HMRC stating they were taking out a legal claim against me and to press 1 to find out my case agent.
Darren from PPI called and wanted to know if I had credit cards. I asked to be removed from his listing he then stared saying I was swearing to distract from my request to be removed!
