Numerous recent calls asking for house owner or house holder but never identifying themselves or stating their business. Seem like some kind of property dealers. Other people in this area have received similar calls.

Had a call today saying that they were a new company setting up in my local area and they already had a company in Leeds. Asked me if I drank water. Said no - he was surprised! Then said he didn t blame me. Asked if I would answer a few simple questions to be entered into a prize draw for a holiday. Told me if I won (which was very likely) then he would deliver the tickets to me in person at my house tomorrow. They constantly ring asking for Karen Thorpe - we have never heard of her. She has never lived here, but they won t accept this. They say that they will take our number off their database, but a couple of months later, they ring again.

Had a few of these phone calls also 01435 572540 Unusual for this area code which makes me think it's a dodgy call-phishing?

Telemarketing scum seem to have got a new contract, as although others suggest they called on behalf of Orange, I am with Vodafone.

Just received a call from this number about online trading. When asked how they got my number, she said online banner ! Strange - I asked her to remove my details - she said that I would need to speak to someone in the company and would not give me the name of the company. Then hung up on me.
