When I tried to politely decline advertising, I was told abruptly that the caller would call me again next year! Very aggressive and unnecessary.

Only wanted to speak to owner of business. When asked about his company he gave the company name. When I asked what they did he spoke to me as if I was stupid and said "we finance Companies". When I said we were ok thanks he sneered as me and said "yeh right", so I said goodbye and hung up. Whatever they are trying to sell they will get no customers with that attitude. Do not answer unless you want to be spoken down to.

Calling constantly asking for date of birth, when asked why they get aggressive and ask for date of birth again... I just keep hanging up... Unfortunately this doesn t stop them calling repetitively.

They called twice in one week. You always know these people. You answer once, twice and then when you are just about ready to hang up they speak. Lots of back ground noise from their colleagues making more nuisance calls to other poor victims and they ask for you by name but need you to confirm it. You either say they have the wrong number and that person isn t known at this number then hang up or, just say that the line is breaking up and you can t hear them. They get bored really quickly and hang up.

Called back fed up with 2 calls a week, Gave them a load of duff info they seem to have swallowed!! Scam the scammers

I made the mistake of ordering a kitchen appliance from Boots Kitchen Appliances / AO. Within a day I d received 8 sales calls. Do not give these people your number. Not even for "delivery purposes". They will instead use it to spam you relentlessly until you eventually block them. They even switched to using a "Private" number when they realised they had been blocked. Calls every day around 8am - luckily I have my phone on mute at this time. Message left says they?re calling from Lloyds Banking Group (Lloyds/Halifax/BoS/MBNA/Sainsbury?s Bank etc.). I?ve never banked with any of these outfits so best guess is scam.
