Accident Claim Company totally unwanted

This International number called today. Did not answer and no message left. Clearly some sort of scam.

This company wanted details from me to compare energy providers. Told them I would use uSwitch. They said they use same engine and chased for details. I declined and told them I am on TPS list so shouldn t receive cold calls and that without my authorization it is illegal. They said they wouldn t call again, but keep trying to call, but they re added to my blacklist app and reported to app community as a pest. Had numerous calls from this number. When I answer there is nobody on the line.

I keep an eye on my credit rating and am debt free. I have received unsolicited calls and texts. Called the number in the texts and asked to call this one - which I didnt. I have not given my name or address to anyone. I find this very fishy. They are a debt collection agency, so have the ability to access my address. After seeking advise, I will wait for them to send me some mail, addressed to me that outlines the reason for their communication.

Called to discuss an accident I had. Asked them for the details and they said they were calling to get the information from me to match their records and asked had I had an accident or not. Asked 5 times for them to confirm the details of the accident they had on file and they hung up.

Apparently I have opted in to receive telephone calls regarding financial services. LIE. I was encouraged to press 5 to talk to someone who will send me a package explaining on how I can write off up to 50% of my existing debt or some such rubbish.
