I have no connection with the area or tel no. I did return an item to a company in Cheshire some time ago apart from that it is mystifying.

This is a scammer text message posing as O2. "Text message uses the typical trick of saying they are unable to process payment, please update your payment details on this link....etc" Reporting to police
Said that he was from Accident Helpline and that I d had an accident.
Automated call saying they are your internet service provider and they have detected illegal activity and will suspend the service....then there are options, press 1 for this, 2 for that.......stopped listening and terminated the call. Over the last two days, have received several calls all from different mobile numbers saying the same thing.

When call is answered they simply hang up without speaking. Waste of time and energy.
Began as a automated message that told me that my internet connection was about to be stopped due to illegal activity, but then gave a chance to speak to them by pressing key 1....
Probably a scam. Vague message via text I suspect to try and get a response.
