Claimed to be from BT. I have no dealings with BT and as I was not addressed by name, can only presume this a scam and therefore a dangerous call.

07539362591 just rang my father in law, claiming to be the bank about 2 payments of 249.99 and 990.00. luckily I was there to stop this, but these absolute arseholes need putting in jail. Absolute scumbags.

Text pretending to be o2 saying my payment to o2 was invalid and to log into attached website to change payment. Checked my bank and payment was going through normally, didn’t log onto website obviously!

SCAM: Indian chap claiming to be from National Grid intending to install a replacement meter. National Grid don’t handle meters.

SCAM - Foreigner speaking bad english saying they are from Virgin Media and that I have a problem with my router. Asking to ue the Windows + R key to run eventvwr. Do not do this or give any information. Kept on asking the caller to state my Virgin Media account number. they eventually put the phone down on me :D

Automated messege saying an arrest warrant has been issued for tax evasion and Fraud. ???????? I'm not silly enough to fall for it but others might.

"Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". Caller did not identify who was calling

Also, I just tried phoning the number back and it doesn't even exist - so somehow the scammer is making out that they are phoning from a local number to look more legit.

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. Automated voice Said transactions had been made from my bank account and to press 1 to authorise or 2 to speak to an advisor. Did neither I phoned my bank and no such transactions has been placed

The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.
