Just had a miss call from this number. when u tryed to call back it says "this number is no longer in service"

Received a call from this 020 37270486, there was an automated message stating that the call is from HMRC and there was a fraud case linked to my name and if I didn’t press 1 to speak to an advisor I’d immediately go to jail. I then got connected to an advisor with non british accent that asked me my name, I was busy looking the number up online so told the person to hold the line and he hung up immediately. Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

I typed the number in a search engine and thanks to others listing it was able to discover its Oxfam calling me on a daily basis. Have never answered call and no message is left. Will now add number to reject list as they are becoming a nuisance. We choose to give to charity and shouldn t feel pressured. That s not what its about.

I was called today, January 20 th 2021, the automated voice claimed to be calling from The UK Crime Agency stating that there had been a number of illegal activities involving my National Insurance Number and so it would be suspended and a new one issued when I dialled 1 to sleak to an official, I hung up.
