Indian accent man named Kevin said he was calling from Microsoft as there is a problem with my computer. I told him that I knew this to be a scam phone call.Eventually he hung up but within seconds called me back. This time the number came up as unavailable. He asked me different personal questions to which I answered that it was none of his business. had a missed call from 01793 675162 rang back to find it was a company from AEV They asked if I had a missed phone call from them, I said no - so they rung off.

17 calls in 3 days and today they called me from 8am with the last call was 9pm totally battering my number all day long. Just had to block them.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Threatened to block my connection. I told him where to go and hung up. He called back three times in a different voice and got told again where to go! One of many scammers trying the same old gag. Missed first call, ignored after finding out it s a middlesborough area code as I live in Northern Ireland. They rang a second time and kept talking about my car accident. I m 16. I don t know how to drive, lol.

This is a company called www.ppiclaimine.com. They have a freephone number 0800 0783542 which took me an age to track down. The person who has been harassing me for 2-years now is well spoken but with a potty mouth when challenged. Please keep on calling this number (it s free and you have nothing to lose). We need to fight back against these scammers.

I have not answered any calls from this nos but, they persistently call! sometimes as often as 4/5 times daily.

Phone call from these people. Smooth talking salesman told me name of the company and said they are doing surveys. I answered some questions about the property and then he said they are calling at 7 pm tomorrow to do a property survey and sit down with me and discuss options. I was alarmed and said I do not let strangers into my house. He was persistent so I put the phone down. I wonder if anyone ever agrees to the property survey. They might be genuine, but I reckon it is best not to chance it.
