Got a message about an apprenticeship I recently applied for, they said they "need to carry out a short the phone call" in order to progress. They then said if i'm still interested I should respond to the text with my "FULL NAME". Wasn't sure if it was a scam or not as I did recently apply for an apprenticeship. This number called me today said they were from sky so I called and asked sky if they recognised the number and guess what they don’t recognise the number and surprise they even said it could be a scam.

Absolute scam. Claimed to be from OpenReach told me they would switch the internet off for 72 hours as our IP address was public and it was a GDPR issue. When I told them to make our IP address private as they actually own the internet, they told me they couldn't. I had to run a software on my laptop to do it. Literally do not do anything they say!

Maybe they are legit but they called me at gone 8pm just for a survey that could've been an email! They call quite often too, personally I just ignore them.

02394352782 called 25 Apr 23 at 14:34 hrs, caller did not leave message. 02394352784 called 26 Apr 23 at 08:32 hrs. called wanted to talk loft insulation, recognized voice and accent, asked her please not to call again as I am fully insulated and boarded as I was last time you called.

Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1.
