Answering machine asked caller to leave voice message & he/she hung up

One day caller claimed to be from lloyds another day from halifax and another day from santander all from the same number told them same story that i never owned their bank but keep asking to confirm few details so told them to bugger off and blocked their number since they keep calling everyday

Re below....untrustworthy!!! Claimed to be from EE, asked me if they were speaking to me by my name, I confirmed that they were speaking to the right person. Then they said “I’m going to hang up now” then hung up Reported to EE, they said they are a marketing company and are partners with EE as he checked it on the EE website. Has rung me around 10 times in the last day, a couple of times I have answered and I the caller has hung up. I thing they are so used to people not answering, they are shocked when someone answers and he just hung up.

I only looked on site out of interest and signed up to see what the cost of a subscription was. Too expensive for me so haven t followed through. i did not request any kind of call back so am not pleased they feel the need to call me.

I got hello, hello? And then went on to say something but I rung up because I had no clue who it was sounded like a London man, and how can someone have a 01344 number any way?

This no was given by someone via email on a dating website and they aren t who they say they are. Don t know who it is and they haven t asked for anything, just a time waster!
