SCAM Call Themselves 'Domestic Appliances'. Phoned numerous times, totally ignore Telephone Preference Service as they have been told I have registered for this service. They have no information on my appliance as it was fitted by friend who runs a business in this market. It is a marketing company trying to sell something (of what use I don't know). DO NOT EVEN ENTERTAIN THEM. THEY ARE THERE TO RIP YOU OFF. PUT THE PHONE DOWN ASAP.

I never answer if a number is unknown to me and don't know the area code, I get so many calls from unknown numbers every day and if it was important they would leave a voice mail, they always hang up as voice mail kicks in, every time in the past I answered it was always telemarketing, number is now in my block box.

I hung up on first and they called from different location. This is a SCAM. The call started with a woman stating she was from Virgin Media and had noted problems with my router; asked if I had also noticed this. I said I hadn't. She said she could help me resolve the problem. I told her she couldn't, not least because I wasn't with Virgin Media. She told me she could help because all the providers' support centres were working together on this. I told her 'nice try' and hoped the weather was good in Delhi, or wherever she was 'phoning from. Then I hung up.
