I received a text from this number saying my apple pay was temporarily deactivated, and a link to reactivate it. Upon clicking the link I was then asked for my name, address and date of birth, and then got suspicious when asked for my full card details. Quick look on google found it is a know scam. Beware.

Have called at least 6 times in last two day. Call themselves Infinite Savings. Caller has never been an English person and usually quite difficult to understand their accent. Says they are not selling anything, insist an trying to ask questions that I do not wish to answer. Have told them every time to remove my number from their database. Usually they hang up without an apology or anything. Fed up with now.

Received the call, answered it and nothing then it rung off
PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. Automated answer informed me that my national insurance and bank accounts had been suspended. A crime number had been issued and court proceedings instigated. I was to press “1” to speak to operative. Safe to say I hung up. Strangely the actual phone number is very close to my own phone number….only a couple of digits out.
