Pushy telemarketing. Asked the caller repeatedly to put us on the do not call list and was repeatedly ignored for the same question multiple times.
Got a missed call from this number today, thought it may be a friend in the UK but when i rang back it said it was out of service. Anyone know how this is possible? And what is it all about?

Just received a call. First from this number. The caller started his pitch - so I quickly interjected with a polite but firm No thank you, good bye - after which the caller repeatedly shouted F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK right up to the point where I hung up. Nice people!!

Called regarding an accident 2 years ago. Telling me there was a 3rd party involved. All false. Refuse to give information and hang up.
Automated answer informed me that my national insurance and bank accounts had been suspended. A crime number had been issued and court proceedings instigated. I was to press “1” to speak to operative. Safe to say I hung up. Strangely the actual phone number is very close to my own phone number….only a couple of digits out.

Fraud Recorded message saying it was from "Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs" claiming there was a "tax fraud claim against me", and to "press 1 to be connected". My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so.
