This number should be blocked, it's all the more scary as it is a 0208 number rather than the usual voip number(s).

Rang my number several times every couple of months, when I did previously answer I told them I was not interested, a few days later someone else would call again, I have had 3 calls in 2 days, which I did not answer.

I have received numerous calls from these people over the past few weeks on my mobile, which i use for both business and personal calls, they are more frequent when I bump my advert on Gumtree, so i can only deduce that they are scouring Gumtree for numbers to call. Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to tempt me into calling them back. An unknown number and unsolicited. I've recently had calls of this type daily around the same time and they're always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one. SCAM keeps calling

This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. No one would have done that, or know to do that (the mobile number is not readily available). Three hours later they rang again and, when I answered, hung up. H

Also received a text saying I had subscribed to footy-tipster.com (never heard of them) at 4.50 per week which I thought was just spam. When the charge appeared on my account I contacted my service provider who immediately refunded the money to me and placed a premium rate call block on my account.
