Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.

This number will ask you to press 1 claiming to be from HMRC tax office and threaten you will arrest warrant. HMRC will never do such a thing without a letter by post. DO not fall for this as consequences could be risky.

I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. This Telephone Number called to say that my Amazon Prime Account was being cancelled. Since I don't subscribe to Amazon I suspect the return call number was a premium rate number. was suppressed me is that it is very local and linked to M&S telephone number which must have been hacked.

This number called me. There was a bit of noise in the background, i said hello twice and then a male voice of what i would guess is south Asian descent said "do you love me?". I replied "What?" assuming i'd mis heard and he just repeated the same question so i hung up.

Very poor line. A caller with a strong Indian accent claimed to be calling from BT claiming that somebody had been using my internet connection without my permission. I have had various calls of this nature from other numbers recently, one of them asking for remote access to my computer. They hung up when I told them that I had recently checked the hub admin screen and had seen no evidence of misuse.
Robot voice claims that internet service will be disconnected in 24hrs. Already had several calls today from different numbers which say the same thing. Hung up and will block if possible.
