Called me and they put the phone down immediately I answered. I would suspect they want me to call them on an expensive call rate OR they are being paid by a client to make calls and consider the fact they got through compliance with their obligations to that client.

This number called today at 07.36 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The person with an Asian accent told me my computer has been compromised and said have you herd of hackers. This number just called me, and despite entries saying this is the Microsoft scam, and other fakey company fakes, this call was from "Go Green Energy Survey", a "genuine government department" wanting to know about my energy usage and supplier. When challenged, they said it was not a survey and they were not selling anything. Then stop wasting my time, stupid call centre man with fake name! Immediately called back, hung up on them.

I said if I had an old PPI Claim can you tell me what it is? She then said I had an indication on her system that I may have one? I asked again what it was? She said I was just going to give you some information and then hung up saying to her colleague, "Oh my god". She obviously wasnt used to or expecting to answer any questions.

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass.
