Fed up with them ringing don't answer as phone says it's a potential scam
Sounded like a recorded call purporting to be from Mastercard about a security issue about a £600 charge this morning. Well, Mastercard would not call - my card provider would do so. I banged down the phone, but to be regarded as dangerous. Beware.

Banking Automated call 'This is bank security ' alleging two card transactions on account. As there is less than £100 in the account, this seems highly unlikely. Simply hung up at this point, but such calls are annoying and potentially dangerous. Have cheçked with my bank in the past, who assure me they would never make such a call

.Harassing Cold call . Trying to sell roof insulation. Do I buy from harassing cold callers??? Nope! Knew our name and address. Asked him where he got details - said from database but could not say what. Told him should at the minimum his company should be vetting against telephone preference service. Asked him to remove our details from his database to comply with current GDPR rules. Kept him talking for a good 10 minutes to stop him harassing others during that time

Apparently advertising in local hospital magazine. Using mature females rather than our asian colleagues (obvs to make the business they are calling more receptive) same tactics as always. push push push. When answering the call, a pre-recorded male voice told me that my NI number would be under investigation, because several fraudulent activities had been registered. It then urged me to press 1 for further information. I terminated the call immediately. However, this does not seem a legitimate phone number from which such a call would be made.
