This company called saying that they were aware ny pension had been frozen. (I left work in May 2015 due to ill health...I'm 38) they had no info about my pension and kept asking me to confirm my details...which they had non of. According to them the Gov had asked such companies to call people who could be subject to costs for freezing their pension, this company could do a free report to see if I was one of those people. Utility provider that supposedly specialises in smart meters.... missed numerous calls from them for around two weeks. Answered today offering information on switching, when I declined and asked for my number to be removed from their database they decided to argue with me about why I did not want to switch. Rude and Strange. I don’t think it is even a legitimate company. Be wary!

SCAM / SPAM Called about the renewal of a warranty that we don't have for our washing machine. Hung up when challenged. Number not recognised when called back. Very suspicious.

Cold calling about pensions, saying they are from ILM. ILM Financial do not cold call, the people calling are fraudsters and do not give them any information. Matter has been reported to FCA and Action Fraud in the UK.

She said she was from 'online services' and it was an emergency to do with my computer. It sounded like the intro to the kind of scam calls I have had in the past purporting to be from Microsoft. I said 'No' and hung up.

Just received a call from this number, I answered, there was silence and then after a few second a beep followed by a robotic lady saying "Goodbye" I had received a missed call from this number a few times so this time I stupidly decided to call it back - not a normal ring tone for London/UK number. A man answered, sounded very much like a call centre and said "This is (forgot the name) from HMRC, what is your name?", I gave him my name and he said "We're looking for a Sheila Stevens". Insurance scam. Wanted to talk about my accident. Asked where they got my details from and was advised they got them from "The Government"!

Thought I'd string them along to get a company name. Put the phone down when I called them out on what they do.
