Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 19169141xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with spam/telemarketing calls, sometimes from energy companies. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Yet another post office parcel payment scammer from Russia this time. I sent them a text back telling them they were con men and to go f themselves. Ignore anything from post office dpd hermes etc as these are just scammers after bank details. Just make sure you KNOW when you are getting a delivery!

Call from Asian male from this number today saying he was from Microsoft and that my PC had a fault. Told him I wasn t at my PC and it was in another room, so I d have to go there and power the PC up (I stayed sat where I was). Messed him about for 5 minutes until he told me where to go and hung up! WHATEVER YOU DO, DON T LET THESE PEOPLE HACK INTO YOUR PC.

Another cold caller from, I think he said Volunteer Services, Asked for me by name then instantly annoyed me by using my first name, told him it was not a good time to call and cut him off. Number now blocked....

I believe it was an Indian guy, called yesterday saying people were using our internet. Tried making me visit a site that said it was risky to go to and told us to turn off out internet and computer for 2 hours. Next day today, around the same time as before got a call, sounded like the same person, saying he was from Virgin Media and wouldn't really answer our(me and my mothers) questions. Continued to tell us to visit a website, and after a half and hour calling trying to see what our back accounts were.
They said I d been in a car accident not of my fault - untrue. Scam / ambulance chasing
Some sort of scam, accidentally called them back, it cost me 60 pence for 2 seconds, block this number.
