This number is from a batch of similar numbers: 07488871686. 07488871703. 07488871758, 07488871735, 07488871757, 07488871649, 07488871624, 07488871560, 07488871705. Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.

The second one today from the same stable - only the 2 digits at the end are different. Both calls from Manchester. There have been a few today - getting fed up with these scammers ringing constantly. They must be getting very strapped for cash to keep trying to defraud 'unsuspecting' people!! SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.
