Had this number call me loads and when I finally picked up they asked me about my accident and my scrapped car (they knew the exact model) when I said "I m sorry but I can only speak to my legal team or to people they ve told me I can speak to" she hung up mid sentence so guess that was a scam

This showed up as a local number 01592 is our dialling code turned out to be some south African woman from a financial service BLOCKED.

I have been getting nuisance calls from The Money Group for about a year now, it is getting to the point of harrassment. The calls are normally from 01423 which I believe is in Harrogate. However, I have now started to get them from 01989 numbers in Ross on Wye. No matter how much I ignore the numbers I get about 6 or 7 calls per day. Repeatedly called at 2.07am, 2.09am, 2.11am ... until I am awoken, panicking, racing downstairs, heart-pounding that a caller that persistent must be family ... some appalling bad news about my kids Checked msgs - the PIN number request thing mentioned in other posts... replace the hand set - 2.15am - and the phone starts ringing again. They called me 3times in one day before I found out how to block them on my mobile

Had a missed call, asked for my name and to press 1, when i gavew a fake name and pressed one, went through to a man who did not know i was calling, when i explained i had a missed call he asked for my full names and when i refused he did not want to take my call.
