An automated call that said it was from the warrants and fraud department. That I was being arrested for fraud if I didn’t press contact the dept by pressing 1. Definitely a spam but some vulnerable people would panic

I received a fraudulent text from this number, purporting to be from HSBC Bank. It stated that I had authorised a transaction for £240, and if this was not me then I should click the link. Since I've never banked with HSBC, there was even more reason not to click the dodgy link.
They called me, I answered, then they hung up.
Fraud. Supposedly National Insurance. Illegal activity on your NI number. Press 1 to talk to Investigator before we take legal action against you. Absolute scam. Since when does NI use a mobile.

This number called twice. I answered both times but no-one spoke. As the no. didn t correspond to any in my address book, I checked it out with you. Company called SCORE, they trade as THE CLAIM GUYS, they are a PPI reclaim company that advertise as "non pushy way to check to see if you have a PPI claim", but they will call up to 8 times a day!!!
