this phone number doesn.t seem to have an answer phone it just makes a high pitched sound

silent call to a mobile phone registered with the telephone preference service not to receive cold calls. Just had a call from this crowd, asking if I was the main user of the Microsft windows device in the house. The line was bad and he had to keep repeating himself. I told them I didn t use windows I was a Mac user and they hung up. Definite SCAM,

Call received at 12-Sep-2019 13:30 from bank claiming a transaction was made from a foreign country and invited to press 1 (one) to cancel this transaction. This is a scam using re-direction to other line incurring high connection and call costs.

Calls every day, usually hangs up. When I ve spoken to them they ignore requests not to call again. Number now blocked.

There seem to be many unknown callers. They tend to stop after six rings, so we simply let them stop without picking up. Annoying, all the same.
