They called to say I had a minor accident in the last 2.5 years. When I asked what vehicle it was, they said they couldn t tell me because of data protection. I enjoy keeping them on the line while they waste their own time. Sometimes I tell them I m just getting the details and leave them hanging on. It stops them calling anyone else for a while until they get fed up.

This is HMRC s Bournemouth number. Typically they will leave a message if they want to speak to you urgently (with a deadline for calling them) - they will also leave a similar, but not identical DDI number to contact them on if.
Accidentally answered and recorded americanised female voice said " you are the only caller in this conference" so I hung up and Googled it, hence posting here. I imagine it was a bot call ready to be listened in on by a "sales" supervisor
