Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." I cut her off & told her she was lying, that she wanted someone to check my insulation & that they would be trying to sell me "upgraded" insulation. There was a long silence so I hung up. SCAM Someone passing themselves off as Business Energy Direct. It certainly isn’t them, they are based in Rotherham which is an 01709 number and none of their staff are Asian so don’t have Asian accents.
Answered to an automated voice machine saying my name but pronounced it wrong. Pressed the option to speak to an agent. The guy did not jntroduced himself and went straight to asking for my card details. Asked them on why did they call my number in the first place, their response was to ring the number at the back of my card for any issues. Lol
No reason to receive a call from this number. A similar number has called a few times at the same time of day and left no message. SCAM
